Castle Hill Trails Alliance News

On January 15th a meeting was held by Castle Hill Trails Alliance to plan for 2017.

Castle Hill Trails Alliance (CHTA) is supported by Ipswich Offroad Cyclists to provide an incorporated entity to pursue grants to assist with trail development at Castle Hill.

The main thing at this point is we have set monthly trail care days until July.

The February trailcare is this coming Saturday from 7am to do final course prep for Sundays Wild West Series race.

Beginning in March they are all on the first Saturday afternoon of the month from 2.30pm to 5.30pm

On Sunday 5th February...JUST ONE WEEK AWAY!! Ipswich Offroad Cyclists are hosting Round 4 of the Wild West Series, we have been busy preparing the 5km course and will be up there on Saturday 4th from 7am to bunt the course and ensure all is good to go,

There are black arrows already on course (roughly every 100m) to steer you in the right direction, so if you haven't already, head up to cut a lap or 2 and get familiar with the course.

Racing kicks off at 7:30am with the Under 10's doing some laps of Blackleg Gully, A, B, C and Under 15's get underway from 8:00am.
